When love ends
If you’re in love, when exactly did you start to lie? Are you really still excited to be going home to the same person every night? Have you ever said “I love you” when you didn’t really mean it? In every relationship, there comes a critical moment when you yourself have to make the effort. When suddenly “I love you” doesn’t sound the same. For me, it was shaving. Every night I shaved so I wouldn’t scratch Anne when I kissed her goodnight. Then, one night, I didn’t shave. Anne was already asleep so I didnt think it meant anything; after all, she’d never now. In fact it meant I didn’t love her any more
