I heart fireflies….they are the only flies I actually want to see around me.

when i was small, i spent my time rescuing fireflies from the neighborhood kids that jarred them. i was the activist going around releasing them, explaining that they did not eat grass and that there was no way they could live in a damn jar…they need the ENTIRE backyard.

to this day, i’m still that little girl.
