Follow/Unfollow Etiquette

Following Do’s:

-Do follow if you like their posts.
-Do follow if you like making friends.
-Do follow if you’re bored and need more posts for your dashboard.

Following Do Not’s:

-Do not follow if they have no content.
-Do not follow if they have emailed you and said they can see you from your window.

Unfollowing Do’s:

-Do unfollow if you feel it’s time for a change.
-Do unfollow if you realized it’s your stalker.
-Do unfollow if it turns out you don’t like their posts after all.

Unfollowing Do Not’s:

-Do not unfollow if you just got into a small argument and want revenge.
-Do not unfollow if it’s because they unfollowed you first and want revenge.
-Do not unfollow people just because they’re not attractive. Why? Because that’s mean.

I can’t think of any other guidelines… comment if you have a suggestion for one.

My unfollowing Do’s:

- Do unfollow anyone who always has more than 10 posts per day, even if their content is good or inspiring. They flood, sometimes interrupt, the dashboard and make it hard to keep track of others’ content. Instead, i may enter their page directly from the address bar

I wonder why “Do not follow if they have emailed you and said they can see you from your window.” . Does it mean they live next to your door?
