no matter how passionate she loves him, how frustrated she lives her life without him, no matter how long she waits for him, she cannot have her man from God. Ralph serves God whom insisted on having all of him even the part God has no use for – his manhood. All she intended to steal is a child with Ralph. However, when Dane grows up, he also wants to be a priest, which means, whatever she steals from God, she has to return it back with full price (Dane’s death) plus interest (Ralph also passes away soon after). No woman can confront with God, because God is a man.
